"I was laid out" - Liv Morgan recalls getting knocked out as a child while play-wrestling

Liv Morgan has reflected on getting laid out as a child when she was play-wrestling with other kids. She admitted that she couldn't breathe for a few seconds.

The Women's World Champion was a big WWE fan growing up, and she decided to become a wrestler at a very young age. She committed to her goal and currently competes in the biggest wrestling company in the world, where she has achieved a lot of success.

During a recent interview with The Schmo, Liv Morgan was asked whether she suffered any injuries while play-wrestling with her brothers in the playground. She recalled getting hit with a clothesline from her brother's friend that laid her out for several seconds.

"Honestly, it was one of my brother's friends; it wasn't even one of my brothers. I took a clothesline right to the throat, and I was laid out and couldn’t breathe for a couple of seconds. Don’t try that at home, do not do this at home. Just don’t do it. But I did, I got laid out, and I was like ugh, and then everyone had to go home. No one was allowed to wrestle at the house for the week. And that was like the cool after-school spot, you know? Go to my house and play around in the backyard ring that we made. No more, it was done after that," she said. [2:43-3:17]

Liv Morgan says Rhea Ripley is obsessed with her

Morgan has been feuding with her former partner, Rhea Ripley, for several months now. Liv Morgan took Dominik Mysterio from Mami and The Judgment Day as well.

The Women's Champion revealed in the same interview that Rhea Ripley is obsessed with her.

"You know what, I don't let her get too close. I think she's obsessed. I'm a little bit worried about her. I beat her already, twice. She will not leave me and Daddy Dom alone. So, I don't know what to do at this point. I'm not letting her close. I think she just is maybe still in love with Dominik, upset at me for stealing Dominik, and for taking her title, and for taking the Judgment Day. You know, I'd hate me too if I were her," Liv said. Liv Morgan has a major task ahead of her, as she will take on Nia Jax for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
