"I'll drop your a**" - Major name puts WWE Hall of Famer on notice

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam recently confirmed his continued involvement with the Stamford-based promotion. Wes Lee issued a warning after the veteran teased a potential in-ring return.

RVD was among the many ECW legendary figures who showed up on NXT at 2300 Arena on Wednesday, November 6. During a backstage segment, The Kardiak Kid attacked the former WWE Champion. In retaliation, Van Dam distracted Lee during his match against Je'Von Evans, helping the latter secure a surprising victory.

Recently, Rob Van Dam took to X/Twitter to express his enthusiasm for a potential match on WWE NXT and reassured fans of his imminent return to the ring. Wes Lee responded to Hall of Famer with a stern warning:

"I’ll drop your a** again if that happens."

Rob Van Dam on his future with WWE

The 53-year-old legend appeared on a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio and shared his positive outlook on his future with the company.

Rob Van Dam reflected on his WWE NXT appearance, during which he felt genuine appreciation and respect from fans. The ECW legend stated that this made him realize the positive impact he has on the younger generation of wrestlers.

"I was about to say I felt the same way, just a little more optimistic. But yeah, I do feel more, when I was at the show last week of 'NXT' in Orlando, it's like everybody goes out of their way to come up and say how much they appreciate me being there. And it really feels legit and honest. It doesn't feel like they were told to do it. They come up and they're happy. They're excited that I'm there. They think it helps their show out. They look up to me, they watch me, they know that I've been wrestling longer than they've been around," he said.

Fans will be excited to see if a Rob Van Dam vs. Wes Lee match materializes in the Stamford-based promotion.
