"I'll see you down the road" - Legendary star says an emotional goodbye amidst rumors of WWE release

A WWE star may be leaving the company soon and has said an emotional farewell in the midst of his rumored departure. The star posted on social media and said farewell to a particular star.

MVP is a true legend in WWE. His earlier run saw him quickly become a fan favorite and is still recognized as one of the best WWE United States Champions of all time. However, he left the company and would stay away for multiple years until his return at the 2020 Royal Rumble. What followed was one of the best runs of any star, as he helped form a legendary faction - the Hurt Business - and also helped in the debut of the giant, Omos.

The Hurt Business would also see Bobby Lashley finally have the run that fans knew he was capable of, pushing him to the main event level within weeks and giving him the title. Rumors have recently stated that MVP's current contract with WWE expires in August and there will be no discussions for a new one. MVP was also recently critical of Triple H's decisions about the Hurt Business.

The CCO and he may not have been on the same page about it, but it seems that MVP is leaving and there will be no future return for the Hurt Business. Now, in an emotional farewell post, MVP said goodbye to Omos, saying that he'd see him down the road and that he'd seen him develop when working with him.

"The Nigerian Giant Omos!!! A work relationship turned into a brotherhood. I enjoyed working with The Giant. I also enjoyed his enthusiasm and desire to learn and improve. I watched it in real time!!! Classy guy! The biggest human with the biggest heart! The world is yours big little brother! I'll see you down the road..."

MVP's second WWE run saw him become a legend

The star's second run with the company not only saw him return and cross paths with some of the toughest stars out there, but he also proved his ability as a manager. During this second run, he managed to win the United States title himself.

He also gave Bobby Lashley the support he needed to get a huge push from the company and become the WWE Champion. He looked dangerous throughout this time and showed off his credits as a manager as well as a wrestler.
