"I love this man" - Rhea Ripley confesses her feelings for top WWE RAW star
Rhea Ripley recently confessed to loving a top WWE RAW Superstar. The former Women's World Champion claimed he was "extremely caring."
The superstar in question is her Terror Twin, Damian Priest. The former World Heavyweight Champion and The Eradicator have a close friendship on and off camera. They are scheduled to team up to square off against the Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in a Mixed Tag Team Match tonight at Bash in Berlin.
Ahead of the premium live event, Ripley opened up about what she likes about her best friend. She claimed Priest had a "heart of gold" and was one of the most caring men she had ever met. Meanwhile, she also credited the former World Heavyweight Champion for helping her throughout her WWE career:
"I mean, what's not to love about Damian, to be honest? I think the thing, you're gonna hate me, I think the thing that I love the most about Damian is that he's just so extremely caring. And people don't think that when they see us because, like, we look terrifying, we're big, we're brutes, we like to beat people up, we love brutality. But this man is one of the most caring men that I have ever met in my life. And I'm gonna make him cry [Do not go that far]. But like every single step of the way, no matter how annoying I am and whatever I do, this man stuck with me through everything. So, yeah, he's just got a heart of gold and I love this man," she said. [2:02 - 2:46]
Rhea Ripley says her bond with the WWE star has grown stronger
In the same interview with Denise Salcedo on Instinct Culture, Rhea Ripley spoke further about her friendship with Damian Priest ahead of their anticipated WWE Bash in Berlin match.
The former Women's World Champion pointed out that they were friends before they joined The Judgment Day, as they bonded over music and fashion sense. The 27-year-old stated that her bond with The Archer of Infamy has now become even stronger:
"Well, we were friends way before The Judgment Day. We became friends in NXT. We had a close bond because we listen to the same music; we dress the same; I've worn this man's gear to wrestle when my gear disappeared. So, when we joined The Judgment Day, it only felt right, you know, because we were already best friends. Like we had our orientation coming up to the main roster together. I've known this man for a very long time, and the bond's just gone stronger," she said.
Ex-WWE host Matt Camp predicted that Ripley would pin Liv Morgan to earn the Terror Twins the victory tonight at Bash in Berlin. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
