"I'm so proud of you" - Becky Lynch receives tear-jerking message from former WWE rival
A popular WWE star sent a heartfelt message to Becky Lynch following an announcement today. Lynch has not competed in a match since the May 27 edition of ]RAW.
The Man took to social media today to note that the paperback version of her book is now available for presale. Lynch added that the book was one of her proudest accomplishments and hoped fans enjoyed reading it.
"To everyone in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and especially back home in Ireland, the paperback version of my best selling book is now available for presale. Thank you all for the support, this book is one of my proudest achievements (Roux will always be #1), I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as this New York Times best selling author enjoyed writing it!" she wrote.
Natalya reacted to Lynch's post and stated that the veteran's book was great. The former champion added that she was proud of the 37-year-old, as seen in the image below.
"Your book was so good!!!!!! I'm so proud of you, Becky!" she wrote.
The Man and Queen of Harts have faced each other numerous times over the years, with their last bout taking place in September 2023 on an episode of RAW. Lynch was successful in defending the NXT Women's Title against Natalya that night before dropping the championship to Lyra Valkyria the following month at NXT Halloween Havoc Week One.
Lynch captured the Women's World Championship earlier this year after Rhea Ripley was forced to relinquish the title due to injury. She had a brief reign as champion before dropping the title to Liv Morgan at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
Former WWE writer claims RAW star could have replaced Becky Lynch
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that Lyra Valkyria could have been Becky Lynch's replacement on the main roster.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo stated that WWE had dropped the ball with Valkyria on the main roster. The veteran added that the company could have done a storyline with Lyra claiming to be Lynch's replacement, leading to a rivalry when Big Time Becks returns.
"All she had to do was slowly and surely keep talking about replacing Becky Lynch and becoming better and turning her heel that way - that's all they had to do. You know, at some point, Becky is coming back. But you know, if she called herself the new and improved Becky Lynch, bro went so far as dyeing her hair red. There's so much they could have done with her, but just another name on the roster," Russo noted. [From 06:26 to 06:55]
