"I'm sick"- Roxanne Perez expresses frustration over Lola Vice's actions on WWE NXT
WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez has expressed her frustration over an NXT star's actions on tonight's episode. The NXT Women's Champion has complained about Lola Vice on social media.
On this week's episode of NXT, Perez faced Karmen Petrovic in a singles match. The bout started with Perez having the upper hand and continued similarly for the rest of the match. She eventually hit Pop Rox, defeating Petrovic. Throughout the match, Lola Vice was in the commentary and trash-talked about Perez. After it was over, she entered the squared circle, took down Perez, and left the ring with the NXT Women's Championship.
The former MMA star was then seen asking the NXT General Manager, Ava, for a title match against Perez at Heatwave. Roxanne then complained to the GM about Vice stealing her title. She was informed about her upcoming match against Lola at NXT Heatwave.
On Twitter/X, Roxanne Perez expressed her anger over Ava giving Vice a title match instead of suspending her.
"Lola should literally be suspended for what she did to me but she gets a title match???? I’m sick," Perez wrote.
Jordynne Grace had previously heaped praise on Roxanne Perez
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace had previously spoken highly of her on-screen rival, Roxanne Perez.
In an interview on PWInsider with Mike Johnson, Grace claimed that Perez was extremely talented in her craft.
"I think she's extremely talented. It's funny. We actually both started when we were 14 years old in Texas. So, we came up in the same circle working the same shows. The only difference is that I had started before."
Grace detailed:
"So I ended up leaving Texas before she did. So we're very similar in that regard. I know that she loves wrestling just as much as I have, you always see the videos of her At the total diva thing with AJ Lee, like I know that she's a wrestling fan just as much as I am and I know that she understands the magnitude of what this match could mean for both promotions." It will be quite exciting to see if Perez can defend her title against Vice.
