"I didn't mean that" - Jade Cargill sends an apology to current WWE champion

WWE Superstar Jade Cargill recently took to social media to send an apology to a current champion. The name in question is NXT Champion Trick Williams.

On this week's episode of the white and gold brand, Trick Williams teamed up with Je'Von Evans to lock horns with Gallus in a tag team match. When the dust settled, Williams and Evans emerged victorious. After their bout, Lash Legend came out to ask the current WWE NXT Champion if he was behind the attack on Noam Dar.

However, before Trick could say anything, the arena's lights went out, and former AEW star Ethan Page came out of nowhere to attack the NXT Champion. After the attack, Page revealed that he was behind the attacks on Legend's teammates.

Jade Cargill took to X (formerly Twitter) to react to Ethan Page's debut. However, she then sent a message to the current NXT Champion, seemingly apologizing for getting excited after seeing All Ego in WWE.

"Sorry [Trick Williams]. I didn’t mean that," she wrote.

"Amazing. It wasn't something that was in my cards or my deck. Came out the blue. But teaming with the EST, we're unstoppable. Who's going to beat us? Like, let's really think about that right now. No one. So we knew it was coming. We knew that, you know, we had phenomenal. The Kabuki Warriors are great. You know, they held the belts down, but it's our time," she said.
