"I didn't remember anything" - WWE legend says she was concussed during a match with Becky Lynch
Former WWE Superstar Becky Lynch collided with Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage match at Payback last year. The wrestling legend has revealed that she suffered a concussion during the match.
The Man and the WWE Hall of Famer were involved in a lengthy feud last year after the latter turned on her during an episode of RAW, the same night they unsuccessfully defended the Women's Tag Team Championship. The feud was settled in a Steel Cage match at the Payback Premium Live Event. During Stratus' entrance, she confronted a fan at ringside who was yelling that she was going to lose. The clip went viral on social media.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely in a recent interview, Trish Stratus said she couldn't recall that moment after the match, as she was concussed during her bout with Becky Lynch.
"Afterwards, my team was like, 'That moment with the fan is going viral.' 'What moment?' 'Before you went in, when you talked to the fan.' 'I have zero recollection of that.' I was concussed. I don't think anybody knows that, but I was concussed after that cage match. I didn't remember anything, anyway. Later on, I watched it back. If you know me, I'm sassy, for sure, but I was like, 'Oh, did I do that?' I'm very camera-aware and PC. I was 100% in character. That was a real character moment. I was in," she said. (H/T Fightful)
WWE star Zoey Stark issued a warning to her former ally Trish Stratus
The wrestling veteran and RAW Superstar Zoey Stark formed an alliance during Stratus' feud with Becky Lynch. However, things ended at Payback after they got into a fight.
During an interview with Ringside Collectibles, Zoey Stark was asked about Trish Stratus. She stated that she wants the latter to stay away from her.
"I don't know I guess we'll find out. As long as she stays out of my way, we're good," Stark said.
Zoey Stark is currently part of a new alliance on WWE RAW, which includes Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler.
