"I could not tell you what Alexa Bliss' real name is" - Former WCW Champion on major issue with WWE Superstars (Exclusive)

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently discussed how most WWE Superstars didn't have any personality outside of their on-screen characters.

It's no secret that WWE works closely with wrestlers to build their on-screen personas through which they are known to the world. From the promos to the outfits to how they interact with fans, a lot goes into building a character.

Some of the greatest personas in WWE history, like The Undertaker, Kane, Hulk Hogan, and more, have transcended boundaries to become popular in the mainstream.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo mentioned how he couldn't identify modern-day stars outside of the squared circle.

He explained that he didn't know what the real names of performers like Alexa Bliss, Elias, and Bianca Belair were. Russo added that if they were to be gone from the company some time, they wouldn't be able to stand out from the crowd.

"I could not tell you what Elias' real name is. I could not tell you what Alexa Bliss' real name is. I don't know if Bianca Belair is her real name. I don't know. If all of a sudden if they are not there tomorrow, I don't know who they are," said Vince Russo. (9:17 - 9:34)

Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE

The Goddess has been away from WWE since Royal Rumble 2023, where she failed to win the RAW Women's Championship from Bianca Belair.

A couple of months back, Bliss revealed that she had undergone surgery to get skin cancer cells removed. However, there's been no sign of her return since then.

Journalist Dave Meltzer recently shared an update, revealing Alexa Bliss could also be linked to Bray Wyatt's return, who has been absent since February. Meltzer noted that if Bliss returned without any connection or hint of an association with Wyatt, it meant the company had all but given up on the latter.
