"I used to caution him all the time" - Wrestling veteran on what he used to tell Dijak in NXT before his WWE departure

Dijak recently took to social media to announce that he was leaving WWE as his contract was not renewed. Booker T recently shared his thoughts on the matter and also disclosed what he used to tell him back in NXT.

The 37-year-old star was a member of Retribution, which was a villainous group that was active during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was known as T-Bar during that time, but after the group dissolved, he went back to NXT and was repackaged. He was drafted to RAW during the 2024 WWE Draft but never made a single appearance on the red brand.

While speaking on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T reacted to Dijak announcing that he was leaving WWE. Booker said that he used to advise the latter to take things down a notch in his matches, as he used to do a lot of crazy stuff.

"I got a chance to spend a lot of time with Dijak in NXT. And I tell you, you are not gonna find a harder worker than Dijak. That dude was almost indestructible. He go out and have some of the craziest matches. I'm talking about where chairs are flying, tables are breaking, over the top rope, through the announce desk and he come out with nothing more than a scratch every time. And I used to caution him all the time, I used to be like Dijak, you need to dial it back just a little bit. But he just couldn't, that was just his style of work," Booker T said. [29:25 - 30:08]

Booker T went on:

"He was moved from NXT to the main roster a couple of months back, and now to find out Dijak and WWE has parted ways. I'm gonna tell you right now, Dijak is not going to have any problem finding work in this business. You're not going to have to worry about that guy as far as him having a job or anything like that."
