"I will finish the story at WrestleMania" - TNA star who was released by WWE last year makes bold statement

A former WWE Superstar has hinted at a return somewhere down the line with his latest comment.

Top Dolla was one of several big names released by World Wrestling Entertainment last year. Since then, he has worked for several promotions, most notably TNA Wrestling.

Top Dolla recently spoke with WhatCulture and opened up about his botched dive spot on an episode of SmackDown in late 2022. He boldly stated that he had done the dive on multiple occasions and added that he would do it again. He then said he would finish his story at The Show of Shows.

Here's his full comment:

"I've done it before many times. I can do it... I'll do it again. I will finish the story at WrestleMania." [5:42-5:47]

Top Dolla on his infamous WWE SmackDown botched dive

On the December 16, 2022 edition of SmackDown, Dolla competed in a Triple Threat Tag Team match. At one point during the contest, he attempted a dive and unfortunately failed. Dolla later revealed that the botch ended up saving his life. Here's what he said:

"The botch saved my life. I made that dive a dozen times before, legs felt off but I didn’t think about it. After I failed I went to the doc & found out I had Type II diabetes & my blood sugar was 626. I almost lost my life & was about to lose both feet. The botch saved my life."

Top Dolla was first released by WWE in 2021. He was brought back under the Triple H regime in August 2022 and was a mainstay in the promotion for another year before being released again in September.
