"It is just the beginning" - WWE Superstar makes bold claim following recent championship match
A WWE Superstar recently made a bold claim following their first-ever singles championship match in the Stamford-based company. The name in question is Michin.
The 34-year-old pinned WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY to win the Holiday Havoc 8-Woman Tag Team Match for her team. Mia Yim had teamed up with Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, and Shotzi to take on Damage CTRL in the said match on SmackDown.
After pinning the champion, Michin was given an opportunity to challenge The Genius of the Sky for the title at SmackDown: New Year's Revolution on January 5. Despite an impressive performance, Michin could not secure the win as the Damage CTRL member extended her title reign.
While speaking on the most recent edition of WWE's The Bump, Mia Yim talked about several things, including the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles, and more. The female superstar was also asked about her recent title match against IYO SKY.
Michin responded by saying that it was just the beginning and further claimed she was ready for more:
"It is just the beginning. I still have it in me, and I'm ready for more," she said. [From 23:30 to 23:38]
She further talked about her preparations for the match against IYO SKY:
"I have known IYO for so long, and I respect her so much that I knew this was not going to be easy. So I had to bring my A-Game. I had to pick and learn from, you know, pick in the brains of Kevin Owens, pick in the brains of AJ Styles. So I'm trying to learn from all of the people I look up to, but also studying all of old IYO matches." [From 24:02 to 24:26]

Michin wants AJ Styles to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble
Roman Reigns is set to defend his title against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight in a Fatal Four-Way match at Royal Rumble.
During the WWE's The Bump, Michin talked about being a massive AJ Styles fan before saying she is backing The Phenomenal One to win the championship match at the premium live event.
"Well, I'm a ride or die AJ so I am rooting for him. Regardless of what the percentage rate is of him winning, to me, he's going to win. I respect the other men... Maybe not The Bloodline. But, at the end of the day, AJ is going to win, and I know he is going to be a champion again soon," affirmed Mia Yim.
