"It's been 7 years since I’ve won a singles title" - Top WWE star on the introduction of the Women's US Title

WWE unveiled the brand-new Women's United States Championship on the latest episode of SmackDown. Many stars took to social media to react to the news, including wrestling veteran Natalya.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis did not provide a lot of information about the new title, but he revealed that all female superstars from RAW and the blue brand will be eligible to challenge for it. The design of the Women's United States Championship is similar to its male counterpart, but it has a white strap instead of black.

Natalya recently sent out a message on X/Twitter to share how happy she was that WWE finally introduced a mid-card title for the women's division. The Queen of Harts stated that it has been seven years since she last held singles gold, and she never stopped working towards becoming champion again.

"A new title for women in WWE, I’m beyond excited for this. It’s been 7 years since I’ve won a singles title and I’ve never stopped working towards winning a championship again. I truly believe hard work always pays off. LFG!" Natalya shared.

All the female titleholders on the main roster are Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Candice LeRae. It will be interesting to see who will become the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
