"It's been an amazing ride" - 27-year-old WWE star breaks silence after losing his championship
On this past Tuesday night's episode of WWE NXT, Axiom and his partner Nathan Frazer lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Andre Chase and Ridge Holland. The masked superstar has taken to social media to react to their defeat.
Fraxiom successfully defended the tag titles last week against MSK's Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz. After the bout, the former North American Champion turned heel and assaulted Wentz and Trey Miguel. Unfortunately for Fraxiom, they were unable to retain the titles this week, as Chase U emerged victorious in the main event.
Axiom recently took to X to share a throwback photo of him and Nathan Frazer with the NXT Tag Team Championship. The 27-year-old wrote that the titles made him fall in love with tag team wrestling during NXT Black and Gold, and stated that it was an honor to defend them.
"During NXT Black and Gold these were the titles that made me fall in love with Tag Team wrestling. It was truly an honour to defend them. It’s been an amazing ride amigo!" wrote Axiom.

Bully Ray shares his thoughts on how WWE should've booked Wes Lee betraying The Rascalz on NXT
There have been a few betrayals on WWE programming recently. Dominik Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam and Finn Balor betrayed Damian Priest on the same show.
It's not just the main roster, as Wes Lee shockingly turned on The Rascalz on NXT last week. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray commented on how it should've gone down.
"I don't think we got that simmer and the boil. Listen, there's a lot of ways to get the job done, and I do think the three of them got the job done last night. They did get the reaction. I would've liked to seen them milk this a lot more...There was no pause, or dramatic pause of shock, of absolute shock. Like, he went right to his line. It's like 'Superkick, okay,' and I'm supposed to say 'What are you doing? That's your brother!'” said Bully Ray.
Wes Lee addressed his betrayal on NXT this week. He even challenged Zachary Wentz to a match at NXT No Mercy.
