"It's genius stuff" - Triple H heralded by WWE legend for bringing about industry-shaking change with major Drew McIntyre & CM Punk angle
The CM Punk-Drew McIntyre saga took a major turn after this week's edition of WWE RAW. While their entire rivalry was built around the Punk's bracelet, things have taken a massive twist after Drew McIntyre broke it in half after unleashing a brutal attack on the Best in the World.
In a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray addressed the bracelet being broken and heaped praise on the creative head of WWE, Triple H.
The veteran stated that now, fans would be encouraged to create things for wrestlers that could potentially be the next thing to build a controversial storyline and develop a rivalry.
"One of the things that I love about the bracelet being created by a fan is that you have now put it out there that any fan could possibly start a major angle, a major story, a major dispute, a major conflict within the WWE. It's genius stuff ... Who's going to be the next fan to create something for a wrestler that's going to create some kind of controversy?" said Bully Ray. (H/T WrestlingInc)
Bully Ray thinks Hell in a Cell is the future for CM Punk-Drew McIntyre feud
After two grueling matches at Summerslam and WWE Bash in Berlin, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have proved that they are willing to leave it all out in the ring to take each other down.
Another match between both men is bound to happen, after the Scottish Warrior's brutal attack on the Best in the World on this week's Monday Night RAW. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, in a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, stated that a Hell in a Cell match between both men is clearly the future.
"I think at this point, Hell in a Cell does it more for me than the other suggestions that are out there that I saw on social media," said Bully Ray. (H/T WrestlingInc)
It is currently uncertain for how long CM Punk will be out of action following the brutal attack from McIntyre. The latter getting punished for his actions would also be a great touch to their feud. Only time will tell what WWE has in store for both megastars in the next few weeks.
