"It's been one Hell of a ride" - Kofi Kingston sends a heartfelt message on 10-year anniversary of New Day

Kofi Kingston has taken to social media to send a heartfelt message to the WWE Universe. It has officially been 10 years since The New Day made its debut.

This took place on the November 28, 2014, episode of SmackDown, and it included Xavier Woods and Big E. They are the most decorated tag team in WWE history, having held numerous tag team golds together and producing two world champions.

A special ceremony will take place on RAW next week to celebrate The New Day's 10th anniversary. Kofi Kingston replied to a tweet on X regarding the anniversary, writing that it's been a hell of a ride and that he's thankful for it.

"10 years…crazy…it’s been one Hell of a ride. So thankful…" wrote Kingston.

Xavier Woods reveals he was told to stay away from Kofi Kingston during his early WWE career

Big E has been out of action since March 2022, so The New Day currently consists of only two members, Woods and Kingston. The two stars even won the NXT Tag Team Championship in 2022.

On WWE Retrospective, Xavier Woods disclosed that the company told him many years ago to stay away from Kofi Kingston due to their similarities.

"My entire WWE career [before The New Day formed], I've been told to stay away from Kofi [Kingston]. Not because he's bad, but because we're very similar. And so they [company] said, 'In wrestling, you got to carve out your own spot, and well, if Kofi's doing this, and we automatically see you and imagine that you're kind of a secondary Kofi, that's not gonna be good for you!''' he said.

Woods and Kofi had a heated argument on RAW this week. Many fans are speculating that they will break up. Only time will tell what will happen to the New Day.
