Ivar shares emotional message following title win on WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Ivar has shared an emotional message on social media following Monday Night RAW, which saw the 40-year-old team up with Erik to win the World Tag Team Championship. It marked the duo's second title win on the main roster.

On the December 16 edition of the red brand's show, The War Raiders dethroned The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to become the new champions. The former Viking Raiders returned to WWE television as a tag team after more than a year on October 14. While Erik was out of action since September 2023 due to a neck injury, his tag team partner started wrestling singles matches before getting injured earlier this year in April.

Earlier today, Ivar took to his Instagram account to share a heartfelt picture of The War Raiders after the championship win last night.

"We Did It," he wrote.

Ivar opens up about winning the World Tag Team Championship in his hometown

After losing to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the November 25 edition of Monday Night RAW, The War Raiders finally defeated The Judgment Day members last night to end their reign as the World Tag Team Champions.

Erik and Ivar spoke to Jackie Redmond in a backstage interview following their championship win. While expressing his happiness, Ivar spoke about the hardships The War Raiders members have faced throughout their wrestling careers. He added that winning the title in his hometown of Boston could not have been a more perfect and emotional moment.

"It's been a long, long, hard, vicious, brutal, trying road. Not only the last five years but our whole careers. The setbacks, the heartaches, the disappointments, the failures, the surgeries, and just everything that we have been through, and to be here tonight. We're in my hometown in Boston. We're in front of all my family and my friends. To be here, it couldn't be more emotional and just perfect for me to know that the things that we did got us here today," he said.
