Jacob Fatu reacts to WWE veteran's emotional tweet remembering Roman Reigns' late brother
The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu has reacted to a veteran's tribute post for Roman Reigns' late brother Matthew Anoaʻi (aka Rosey). The real-life Bloodline member tragically passed away at 47 years old in April 2017.
Hurricane Helms (aka Gregory Helms) currently works for WWE as a backstage producer. Back in the day, he did well for himself as a mid-card act. He teamed up with Rosey on the main roster between 2003 and 2006.
Helms recently shared a post on X/Twitter, mentioning that he missed Rosey. The tweet received a response from none other than Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline.
You can check out the exchange below.
Reigns and Fatu are currently embroiled in a heated feud as part of the Bloodline saga. The two represented rival teams in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. However, this didn't stop The Samoan Werewolf from paying tribute to the OTC's late brother.
Roman Reigns opens up on the passing of his brother
Roman Reigns was incredibly close to his brother, and his sudden passing broke him from within. Shortly after Rosey's passing, WWE conducted an interview with Reigns and published it on its website. Here's what the OTC said about the untimely death of his brother:
"Right now, it’s one of those situations where it’s a lot of mixed feelings. When you live in a big family, it’s always great to be able to come together, but to have to come together to send off a brother—and not only was he my brother, but in our family, even when you’re cousins, we’re all so close that we feel like brothers. That’s the type of connection we have in our family. It was an extremely sad weekend, and it’s still really tough. Everybody’s grieving. But to see our family come together and have a hundred-plus family and friends come together to celebrate my brother’s life really meant a lot. It just continually picks up our family and keeps us moving on." [H/T: WWE]
Roman Reigns has worked incredibly hard over the years and is now arguably the biggest superstar in all of WWE. His late brother would have been proud of his accomplishments in the world of pro wrestling.
