Jacob Fatu's alleged non-profit scam before WWE rise resurfaces
WWE Superstar Jacob Fatu's alleged non-profit scam has resurfaced. Despite being a small amount considering his current position in World Wrestling Entertainment, Fatu has been accused of keeping the money.
The Samoan Werewolf made his WWE debut on the June 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He literally burst into the scene and has cultivated a fan following even among industry veterans owing to his in-ring abilities. Fatu is presently part of a major storyline involving The Bloodline with some of his cousins and plays a key antagonist to one of the company's top stars, Roman Reigns.
In 2023, Jake's Network of Hope, a local non-profit organization that helps underprivileged people, located in Appleton, Wisconsin was allegedly deceived by Jacob Fatu. The organization put on a wrestling event fundraiser hosted by Lawrence University. Billy Gunn, Vampiro, Tatanka, Brian Pillman Jr., and Jacob Fatu were among the names scheduled to make appearances, according to Jake's Development Director, Jenn Harper.
"Jacob [Fatu] called and said there was a family emergency. We gave him the benefit of the doubt. At Jake’s, we are a 100% about family and I said, 'If you can’t make it, that’s fine,'" Harper said. "We rescheduled the flight that he missed originally and about an hour after that flight took off, we were made aware from him that he wasn't coming. After that, he ghosted us, he ghosted the production team that puts together the wrestling show and he ghosted the person that booked him for us." [From 1:14 to 1:48]

While this video above was posted in June 2023, the husband of the charity organizer has since confirmed on Reddit that Fatu had still not returned the money after ghosting everyone involved with the appearance.
Jacob Fatu was in action at WWE Crown Jewel last Saturday
At Crown Jewel 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jacob Fatu joined Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga to take on Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso.
The story-driven bout kicked off the show, with several noteworthy moments that could have an impact on the program in the coming weeks.
Interestingly, Fatu's membership in Solo Sikoa's Bloodline was recently brought up by former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan. The veteran claimed that The Samoan Werewolf does not fit into the faction. Morgan also had some strong comments regarding Sikoa's pinfall win over the OTC at the recently concluded premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
