Jacob Fatu sends message to top WWE star ahead of SmackDown

WWE's Bloodline will be in action tonight on SmackDown. Jacob Fatu, WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, will join their leader Solo Sikoa to battle Street Profits and #DIY after what transpired last week.

The Street Profits failed to dethrone the tag champs and suffered a beatdown post-match. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano made the save. This led to the Eight-Man Tag Team Match announcement for tonight.

In the years that have passed since The Bloodline's formation in The Island of Relevancy, the Enforcer's role has always been to obey its "Head of the Table." Solo Sikoa was the first Samoan in that role. But now he has self-promoted himself as the leader and Jacob Fatu replaced him in that position.

Despite a minor setback after Roman Reigns' return at SummerSlam, Solo Sikoa has taken the lead again on the Blue Brand after Fatu returned from a minor injury and handled business for Sikoa by taking out Reigns. Ahead of tonight's SmackDown in Alberta, Canada, Jacob Fatu reassured his allegiance to The Bloodline's leader:

"I OWE IT ALL TO YOU. MY TRIBAL CHIEF. SOLO SIKO."

Solo Sikoa will not stop until he brings back the Undisputed WWE Championship into The Bloodline

When Roman Reigns ran the show, he had the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Cody Rhodes' defining victory at WrestleMania in April 2024 is what motivated Solo Sikoa to take charge and change the lineup of The Bloodline. Aside from himself, no other original members are part of it anymore.

What remains is the top prize. And there is someone else in The Island of Relevancy who is bigger than The Tribal Chief of The Bloodline simply because that man has the Undisputed WWE Championship. Two weeks ago, Solo Sikoa made Jacob Fatu relinquish the WWE Tag Team Championship to Tonga Loa, as he claims Fatu needs to always be taking orders from him and not defend titles.

Ahead of Bash in Berlin, Sikoa declared that he would go after the winner of Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens. It appears The American Nightmare will defend his belt next against the 31-year-old Samoan.

As for when the potential title bout could happen, there are two major upcoming events. One is Bad Blood on October 5, which will emanate from Cody Rhodes' home state of Georgia. The other is next Friday's SmackDown, which will be the new season premiere as the Blue Brand moves from FOX to the USA Network. It is likely the company would want to stack up that particular show.
