Jade Cargill on possible Bianca Belair split and future WWE rivalry (Exclusive)

Jade Cargill has been tag team partners with Bianca Belair over the last few months on WWE SmackDown. In an exclusive interview, the 32-year-old gave her thoughts on her alliance with The EST possibly turning into a rivalry one day.

Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut in the Women's Royal Rumble match in January. The imposing star was involved in several notable spots, including a moment where she faced off with Belair.

Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter and host Dr. Chris Featherstone spoke to Cargill ahead of WWE SummerSlam. Asked about "electric" moments at the Royal Rumble and possibly feuding with Belair, Cargill gave the following response:

"It was in my mind at the Royal Rumble days. And let me get to it, I bring the electricity. Let's do that first and foremost, let's just say that! I bring the storm. Right now, more so on my mind is just building up the tag team division, you know? We decided to work with one another. We wanna go out there. I mean, hopefully one day get the Tag Team Titles on a PLE like tomorrow [SummerSlam], so that's what we're trying to do." [1:18 – 1:39]

Jade Cargill makes her thoughts on Bianca Belair clear

On the August 2 episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Women's Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. However, the titles did not change hands due to the match ending via disqualification following Blair Davenport's interference.

Cargill reiterated that while she could face Belair one day, her focus right now is on recapturing the tag titles:

"We're not looking to feud with one another. We're trying to work with each other and just build up the tag team division. But the option's always there, right?" [1:39 – 1:47]

Belair and Cargill previously held the tag titles for 42 days after defeating Asuka and Kairi Sane at Backlash France. Their reign abruptly ended when Dawn and Fyre won a Triple Threat match, also involving Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, at Clash at the Castle.
