Jaida Parker reveals major reason for "beef" with WWE SmackDown star
Jadia Parker has built her fanbase as part of the WWE NXT brand. She recently put a SmackDown star on notice after making a major revelation.
Michin (aka Mia Yim) has been doing a fine job as part of the SmackDown brand. She recently challenged Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship in a Street Fight.
Meanwhile, Michin has also had her fair share of rivalries in NXT. After her recent move to the brand where she competed in a few matches, she came across Jaida Parker.
The two have cost each other important matches and continued to build their rivalry. In an interview with Under The Ring, Parker confirmed that she still has a score to settle with The HBIC.
"To this day, I say that she's the reason why I wasn't able to climb the ladder [at Battleground]. Me and her still got beef," Parker said. "But that ladder match was insane to me, in the best way possible, because us six women in there, we set history. Kelani Jordan won it and she deserved to win it, but we all set history in there, because that is the first Women's North American Title that NXT has ever had, or WWE in general."
Jaida Parker then praised her rival, stating that she helped her bring the best out of herself. The Street Fight between the two stars helped Parker get a lot more notice.
"[Michin] is a hell of a competitor, but I'm just glad we had that Street Fight because she brought it out of me. She brought like the beast out of Jaida Parker, I'll give her that," Parker said. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
WWE could continue the rivalry between the two stars while they work on different brands. It would give Jaida Parker a reason to target a top star whenever she moves to the main roster.
Jaida Parker recently got a top title opportunity on WWE NXT
NXT gave several women, including Jaida Parker, a chance to become the first NXT Women’s North American Champion after the title was introduced. Kelani Jordan won it after Parker was taken down by Michin who was also part of the contest.
At NXT No Mercy, Parker got another title opportunity, this time against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. The 25-year-old star put on a good show but fell to the Pop Rox.
Fans could see Parker win a top title before she moves to the main roster. The creative team seems to be behind the upcoming star.
