Jeff Hardy recently changed his mind about big career move (Exclusive)

Jeff Hardy returned to TNA Wrestling in June 2024 after seven years away from the company. In an exclusive interview, the popular star admitted he had reservations about wrestling for his former employers again.

Hardy worked for TNA Wrestling between 2004 and 2006 before returning for another spell with the promotion between 2010 and 2017. Shortly after news of his AEW exit broke earlier this year, the 46-year-old unexpectedly appeared at the end of the recent TNA Against All Odds event.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, the Charismatic Enigma recalled how he reacted to his brother Matt's surprise TNA appearance in April. The former WWE Champion also revealed why he changed his mind after initially deciding against a return to TNA:

"When Matt first showed up in TNA, my wife called me in the bathroom and said, 'Did you know Matt was going to TNA?' I said, 'No!' I had no idea. Then I watched the footage, 'Oh my God,' and to myself, I speak with my soul, I said, 'There's no way we're going back to TNA.' But then I just let it dwell, I thought about it, and then I was like, oh my God, wait a minute, I had a lot of cool moments in TNA. I created a lot of great memories in TNA," Hardy said. Jeff Hardy believes TNA is heading in a good direction right now. He is also glad to see talents like Joe Hendry receive opportunities in WWE:

"And then it was last notice, we had the conversation and I agreed to go back, and for some reason it just feels right," Hardy continued. "It was supposed to be this way, especially with the Joe Hendry deal, NXT. All that stuff is so exciting, so I think it kinda happened for a reason." [From 02:58 – 03:14]

Hardy also teased that he could bring back a character from the past if he feuds with Hendry in TNA.
