Jesse Ventura randomly takes shots at top SmackDown star at Saturday Night's Main Event; leaves Joe Tessitore stunned

Jesse Ventura returned after several years at Saturday Night's Main Event. The legend left the WWE Universe and Joe Tessitore a bit stunned by his comment as he took a shot at a top SmackDown star.

Everyone awaited the return of the beloved Jesse 'The Body' Ventura as he is one of the names that made Saturday Night's Main Event what it is - not just the wrestlers in the ring. In the opening of the show, Joe Tessitore was doing a great job of the introductions for the match.

While stating that he was most excited for the main event, i.e., the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, Jesse Ventura left everybody including Joe Tessitore a bit stunned. He said that he had doubted several times whether Cody was truly Dusty Rhodes' son and took a shot at his abs.

He even seemed to criticize Cody Rhodes for a prior interference and firmly sided with the 'villain' of this story Kevin Owens.

Jesse Ventura did a good job "heeling" it up with his character and his presence was missed after so many years away. As you may know, the end of his WWE tenure in the late 80s/early 90s was met with a lot of bitterness and it seemed like he would never make a return to the Stamford-based promotion.

Legal troubles and decades later, the departure and exit of Vince McMahon seemed to be enough for Ventura to be back on good terms with WWE. It should be noted that he has made sporadic appearances in between through the years.

Fans will be hoping to see more of him at Saturday Night's Main Event.
