Jey Uso beats ex-Universal Champion in last-minute replacement after SmackDown goes off the air

"Main Event" Jey Uso is one of WWE's must-see stars today, and for good reasons. This Friday, he emerged victorious in a match where he faced a replacement star, former Universal Champion Finn Balor.

A street fight was the name of the game on SmackDown as RAW's Jey Uso was out for the last dark match of the night at Madison Square Garden. Despite an episode of SmackDown that took quite a bit out of the crowd, the fans went berserk for the Samoan star.

In the second post-show dark match, Jey Uso defeated Finn Balor after SmackDown went off the air. Balor replaced Damian Priest at the last minute, who could not be there due to flight issues.

This marks yet another victory that "Main Event" Jey has over Finn Balor. He even overcame him in a Triple Threat bout to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Jey has made it clear that his goal is to head to Toronto to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and fulfill his goal of being a world champion in WWE.

Jey was backstage as The Bloodline executed a vicious assault on "The Wiseman" Paul Heyman—undoubtedly one of the most stunning endings to SmackDown.
