Former WWE manager praises Jey Uso for his promo on SmackDown

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell spoke highly of Jey Uso following his promo this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown.

The 39-year-old appeared this past Friday night on the blue brand to try to reason with Roman Reigns. Jey Uso stated that he would be willing to compete with Reigns at Crown Jewel if he treated him like his cousin instead of his subject. The Head of the Table agreed to the former champion's request by saying "Yeet!"

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell praised Uso and claimed that he carried the segment. The legend added that he was surprised Roman Reigns didn't say more during the promo, but it was effective nonetheless.

"He did a great job, I thought because; I missed a lot of the stuff (lately), and, really, I watched a lot of the stuff for the first time tonight, but he carried this whole segment. Roman is surprised he didn't say more than he said, but there was no need for him to say it. So that means he is helping these guys to get their rightful place, but it was solidified tonight by Roman Reigns." [47:00 onwards]
