Jey Uso claims he and real-life Bloodline member "changed the whole game" after their encounter
Jey Uso is one of WWE's biggest stars and made a bold claim ahead of SmackDown. Main Event Jey recently reflected on his epic encounter with Roman Reigns and stated the two changed the whole game with their Hell in a Cell match.
A few years ago, Jey Uso was finding his place on Friday Night SmackDown after Jimmy Uso's injury. The star collided with Roman Reigns, who had recently ascended as The Tribal Chief. This didn't sit well with Jey and the two collided for the Universal Championship.
However, the universally regarded match from their trilogy happened inside Hell in a Cell during the Thunderdome Era. The match led to several catastrophic events including the birth of The Bloodline and Right Hand Man on Friday Night SmackDown in the coming months.
Today, Main Event Jey reflected on their second encounter for the title almost four years ago. The star believes the two changed the whole game after their Hell in a Cell match.
"Changed the whole game with this one," Uso wrote.
Jey Uso on potentially reuniting with Roman Reigns to reform The Bloodline
Last year, Jey Uso cut ties with his family, including Roman Reigns and The Bloodline for a fresh start on Monday Night RAW. With The American Nightmare's help, Main Event Jey became a staple of the red brand.
However, he's not done with his family as he often crosses paths with them in the Stamford-based promotion. In an interview with Metro, the star was asked if he could potentially reunite with Roman Reigns, who would be his first pick?
Main Event Jey picked Sami Zayn as his first pick due to the chemistry they developed in the group. Moreover, Zayn had his back on Monday Night RAW and the two have teamed up on different occasions.
"I’m looking forward to The Bloodline storyline as much as you all are, because I’ll be honest, I don’t know what we’re going to do, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t know how they’re going to intertwine me back in there… Sami would be my first pick, right? It only makes sense. Hey, we might have other family members, more surprises, man," Uso said.
It'll be interesting to see if the star reunites with his family in the coming months on Friday Night SmackDown.
