Jey Uso confirms major WWE appearance following successful defense following RAW
WWE Superstar Jey Uso won a spectacular title defense match this week on Monday Night RAW. Despite competing in an important match and a brutal ambush right after his title defense, The Yeet Master has confirmed an imminent WWE appearance. Notably, the 39-year-old star will be staying in St. Louis for another day and attending the NXT show.
Jey Uso was on the receiving end of an attack from Bron Breakker right after his victory over Xavier Woods. While Kofi Kingston tried to intervene and save the reigning Intercontinental Champion, he missed the Trouble in Paradise and ended up receiving a Spear. Woods was also run over by Breakker with a charging Spear.
This prompted The Yeet Master to nurse his ribs back in the locker room when he was approached by Jackie Redmond for a RAW Talk segment. The interviewer said that she heard that the champion would be making an appearance on NXT and asked for his confirmation. While verifying the information, Jey said that St. Louis would be turning into "St. Lou Yeet" for another night.
"Hell yeah, we can confirm that. What up Sexyy Red? St. Louis on. You know what I'm saying. But, hell yeah, I'm gonna stay one more night, Jackie, in St. Louis. I'll be at NXT so we can YEET, and maybe my ribs will get back in place," Jey Uso said. [2:18 - 2:32]
WWE Superstar Jey Uso commented on the "true colors" of Bron Breakker
As Jey Uso is heading to the October 8, 2024, episode of NXT, he expressed his thoughts on former NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Notably, The Big Bad Booty Nephew had extended a hand of friendship right after his title loss against The Yeet Master and had established a truce in front of fans. While many expected this to be a face turn, Bron returned on RAW with a grudge.
While speaking to Jackie Redmond in the same interview, Jey said that he really thought the 26-year-old star respected him. The Yeet Master also noted that he was ready to give Breakker a proper rematch, but did not see the latter backstabbing him instead.
"I really thought he was showing respect. I really thought he was giving me my props. I really thought he thought I was a better man that night. I would have respected him for sure right back and gave him another rematch but, you know, he's showing his true colors, you know, he popped off on me at the end of the match, you know, I didn't see it coming late in the year my homies all the way out but it's all good, we're gonna run it back," Jey Uso said. Jey Uso even said that Bron Breakker attacking him with a Spear felt disrespectful since it was the same finisher used by him and Roman Reigns.
It would be interesting to see how the heated rivalry between The Yeet Master and The Big Bad Booty Nephew proceeds further.
