Jey Uso currently front runner for major 2024 accomplishment

WWE Superstar Jey Uso lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker last week on Monday Night RAW. Despite the devastating loss, Uso looks all set for a major accomplishment for the year 2024.

According to a recent X (FKA Twitter) post shared by RassleStats, as of October 28, the 39-year-old has won 21 out of his 28 matches this year. Uso has the perfect opportunity to end 2024 with the most number of wins among the WWE Superstars. One-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair has an equal number of wins in one lesser match.

Jey Uso's most recent television appearance was on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion attacked The Bloodline during the main event, helping The Motor City Machine Guns defeat Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to become the WWE Tag Team Champions. After the match, Jey hugged his brother Jimmy Uso inside the squared circle as Roman Reigns watched the twins embrace each other from the stage.

Ex-WWE manager shares his honest opinion on Jey Uso

Jey Uso is among the most beloved babyfaces in professional wrestling, making him one of WWE's highest merchandise sellers this year. However, legendary wrestling manager Jim Cornette recently claimed he is not a big fan of the former Intercontinental Champion.

On a recent episode of Drive-Thru, Cornette stated that Jey Uso's character was his least favorite top star gimmick in wrestling. The 63-year-old added he hated everything about the character, from the outfit to in-ring work:

"I've got a lot of least favorites in AEW. But I'm now officially declaring Jey Uso is my least favorite top-guy gimmick in wrestling. It's all over. But I hate it. I hate 'Yeet.' I hate that Ringling Brothers outfit he's wearing with 'Yeet' on his arms, and flower petals on his legs, and fluorescent blue all over. I hate his work, which has gone to hell because of his hot doggery, which is not only over the top but also it seems to me to be hard to work with because the timing of his hot doggery is just a step behind the beat. I don't like any of this," said Cornette. [0:30 - 1:32]

After weeks of speculation, Jey has finally reunited with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso. Considering The Bloodline has been on SmackDown since the faction's inception, the younger Uso might join the blue brand soon.
