Jey Uso finally reacts to Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam 2024

Roman Reigns' WWE return at SummerSlam 2024 is still being talked about in the wrestling world and now Jey Uso has finally reacted to the shocking moment. Reigns had been on a hiatus since the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania XL.

The Original Tribal Chief came out in the closing minutes of Cody Rhodes's Undisputed WWE Title defense against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam. As expected, he took out Sikoa, leaving the Cleveland fans in a state of frenzy.

This continued on the latest episode of SmackDown too, where Reigns laid waste to Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Even though Reigns hasn't uttered a word yet since returning, he has made his intentions quite clear.

The chatter surrounding his return hasn't died down yet and now his former Bloodline stablemate Jey Uso has addressed his blockbuster return. In a recent chat with Sports Illustrated, Jey stated that there was no one at Roman Reigns' level according to him and confessed that he looked up to him.

“There is no one better,” said Jey Uso. “He makes it look so easy. I look up to him. He’s got this art form down.” [H/T - SI]

Teddy Long addresses Roman Reigns' blockbuster return

On the recent episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long shared his views on Reigns's epic comeback. The wrestling legend pointed out how The Original Tribal Chief didn't have to resort to pandering the crowd by engaging in any "showmanship." Long mentioned the WWE Superstar simply walking down the ramp was enough to generate a loud reaction.

"The reaction was so fabulous to him. One of the things that was amazing was that there was no showmanship. Which was good that Roman just walked down like this. There was no (gestures, fanfare), no, he just came out naturally, and that was still great."

If his SummerSlam and SmackDown appearances are anything to go by, it's safe to say Roman Reigns could be on a babyface run for the ages in WWE.
