Jey Uso gets real about Paul Heyman; shares emotional message ahead of rumored Roman Reigns return
WWE Superstar and former Bloodline member Jey Uso recently shared an emotional message about Paul Heyman ahead of Roman Reigns' much-awaited return. The Tribal Chief is heavily rumored to show up at the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
After helping his family reach new heights on WWE television, Jey parted ways with The Bloodline and shifted from SmackDown to RAW. He even split with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, who decided to stay with Roman Reigns' faction. Since then, Main Event Jey Uso has reached new heights as a singles star.
Jey is currently extremely over with fans. Although the 38-year-old won the Undisputed Tag Team Championship alongside Cody Rhodes last year, many people want to see him secure a major singles title soon.
During the latest A&E Biography: WWE Legends, Jey Uso shared an emotional message about Paul Heyman's influence on The Bloodline and other performers. The Yeet Master said Heyman helped elevate his career and mentioned that The Wiseman was always willing to mentor talents backstage.
"The connection with Roman [Reigns] and Paul [Heyman] is tight. He elevated the hell out of me too. He [sic] trying to help everybody. I see him chopping it up with a lot of other talent and if I don't see you talking to Paul then you [sic] missing out."
Former WWE personality believes Jey Uso and Roman Reigns could have an interaction at SummerSlam
During an edition of The Wrestling Matt podcast, former WWE personality Matt Camp predicted that Jey Uso could have an interaction with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. He added that the potential exchange could mean way more than The Yeet Master being in a random title match because of the duo's incredible history.
"What if Jey and Roman had an interaction at SummerSlam? That means way more than Jey being in some random title match. If Jey and Roman cross paths at SummerSlam, you couldn't tell me anything you could do with Jey right now that would mean more than that because people know what the history is there. That goes a long way," Camp said.
Many fans believe Roman Reigns could re-form The Bloodline with Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn to take on Solo Sikoa's stable, which includes Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. It will be interesting to see what the real Tribal Chief has planned for his impending return.
