Jey Uso needs to fix a major issue, says WWE veteran

Jey Uso has been a highlight of WWE RAW ever since he cut ties with The Bloodline. However, wrestling veteran Jim Cornette feels there's a major issue with Main Event Jey, which needs to be fixed.

Earlier this year, Jey Uso ascended as a singles star and chased championships on Monday Night RAW. Later, he won the Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker in the second-generation star's second television title defense. However, Jim Cornette pointed out a major issue.

Speaking on Jim Cornette Official, the 63-year-old veteran stated Uso needs to improve his in-ring work. The former WWE manager and booker stated Mr. Yeet needs to improve the quality of his matches and leave the 'Yeeting' for promos and segments rather than matches:

"Nevertheless, Jey Uso is remarkably over. But he needs to work on not only being a hot dog but also the quality of his matches when he's selling. It's like you've got legitimate sympathy rather than, I just want him to get up and start Yeeting again," Cornette said. (From 04:00 to 04:30)

Jey Uso met Jimmy Uso on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, Jimmy and Jey Uso continued their feud from last year while heading into the biggest WrestleMania of all time in Philadelphia. The two brawled across brands before their clash at The Showcase of the Immortals.

The two went on very different paths after Jey defeated Jimmy. While Main Event Jey became the Intercontinental Champion, Jimmy Uso was on a long hiatus until his recent return at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, the Intercontinental Champion crossed paths with his twin. Mr. Yeet immediately said no to Jimmy and walked away. After saving The New Day from Bron Breakker, Jey again met with Jimmy and left.

The Intercontinental Champion wants no part of The Bloodline, as he's focused on remaining the champion. On the upcoming episode of WWE RAW, Uso will defend his title against Breakker.
