Jey Uso responds to his father Rikishi's criticism of his booking
Everybody loves Jey Uso and the Yeet Movement is undoubtedly one of the biggest WWE has ever seen. But, if there is one person who doesn't like how things are going for Main Event Jey, it's his father Rikishi. The Hall of Famer is unhappy with how his son is being booked in WWE and shared his thoughts on his podcast. Well, Jey himself has heard what his father had to say and he has a response.
For context, Rikishi blasted WWE's booking of Jey Uso on his Off The Top Rope podcast. He criticized the creative decisions surrounding his son, especially the decision to put him in a romantic storyline involving Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Furthermore, he expressed his amazement over how nothing is being done with The Yeet Movement.
This was a really strong and impassioned take from Rikishi and one that Jey Uso has now responded to. Appearing on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Uso addressed his father's concerns, and his response was rather straightforward. He simply requested the Hall of Famer just watch the show, let him get to work, and most of all enjoy the ride.
"He just said what he said about my creative. I'm like, 'Dad. Just watch the show. Let me work. Let me go out and work, enjoy the show. Make your rap track.' That's pops, though. Shoutout to my dad," said Jey Uso.

Jey Uso recently provided an update on his brother's in-ring return
For those who don't remember, Jey Uso, at one point in his career was one half of one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history, The Usos. The other half is none other than his twin brother Jimmy Uso who is working on SmackDown. That was until he was injured and kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa.
This was just after WrestleMania 40, and since then, not a word or whisper has come out of Jimmy Uso's camp regarding his return. Well, Main Event Jey has broken the silence, as he shared an update on The Masked Man Show. He revealed that Jimmy will be back soon and that he personally, is excited to see him back on TV.
There are rumors suggesting that Jimmy could return tonight at SummerSlam, alongside his cousin Roman Reigns. It certainly would be a sight to behold. But, only time will tell what the future holds for Jimmy Uso.
