Jey Uso shouldn't reunite with Roman Reigns, says WWE personality; makes major pitch for 10-time champion
Jey Uso has made a name for himself on WWE RAW and it looks like there's no slowing down Main Event Jey. Meanwhile, on-screen personality Sam Roberts said he doesn't want Uso to reunite with the original members of The Bloodline and wants Jey as the guy to dethrone Gunther.
Jey Uso has become one the most over characters in WWE and Main Event Jey is an established name in sports entertainment. However, many believe he would reunite with Roman Reigns in the coming months and reform the original Bloodline against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown.
Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, WWE personality Sam Roberts addressed Jey Uso's current standing in the Stamford-based promotion. Roberts stated a part of him doesn't want Jey Uso to reunite and reform the original Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns.
"A part of me doesn't even want Jey [Uso] to join back in with [Roman Reigns] The Bloodline because a part of me wants Jey to be the one to take the World Heavyweight Championship off of Gunther and wouldn't that be something," Roberts said. (From 31: 14 to 31:27)
Roberts made an interesting pitch where he wants Jey Uso to dethrone Gunther at WrestleMania 41 after The Ring General wins the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest at SummerSlam 2024.
"Imagine, if Jey Uso won the Royal Rumble and he got to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania [41]," Roberts said. (From 33:23 to 33:30)

Roberts also stated he wants to watch Jey help Roman Reigns in a potential WarGames match, but does want Uso to venture into the World Heavyweight Championship picture.
Why did Jey Uso leave The Bloodline after WWE SummerSlam 2023?
After WrestleMania 39, Jey and Jimmy Uso reached their breaking points when Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman disrespected The Usos when the duo lost their titles to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
Later, The Usos turned on Reigns and Solo Sikoa and defeated them in London. The loss didn't sit well with the two and they brutally took out Jimmy Uso, which led to Jey demanding a Tribal Combat match against The Tribal Chief.
At WWE SummerSlam 2023, Jimmy Uso returned and cost his brother the match against Roman Reigns. The star was fed up with Jimmy and The Bloodline and decided to leave Friday Night SmackDown for a fresh start on WWE RAW.
