Jey Uso's cousin on where WWE could be going with Rhea Ripley romance tease (Exclusive)
Rhea Ripley's storyline has been huge for WWE, but Jey Uso has been lingering around as well. His cousin spoke about where he thinks the Stamford-based promotion could be going with the possible romance tease between Jey and Rhea.
On Sportskeeda's SummerSlam Preview and Pre-Show, host Joe Lowry spoke to Afa Anoa'i Jr. (fka Manu in WWE). Afa Jr. is the nephew of the late great Sika - who happens to be Roman Reigns' father. This means the 39-year-old is directly connected to other Bloodline members of the former and current line-up like The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu.
When Afa Jr. was asked about whether he thinks anything could come of the Jey Uso-Rhea Ripley romance tease, he said it could potentially be a thing and one could never tell from before.
"They could potentially be a thing. You never know. Rhea [Ripley] is with Dom [Dominik Mysterio] right now, you never know," he said. [11:12-11:18]
Afa Jr. also praised Ripley's storyline with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, calling it "gold" and stating that outside of The Bloodline, that has been the story that had caught his attention in WWE.

Rhea Ripley's response regarding Jey Uso has been interesting
Jey has always let his affection for Rhea Ripley be known, but after she returned from her injury hiatus and refused to speak to Dominik Mysterio, Jey asked Damian Priest in front of Dominik if Rhea was single and hinted at having intentions of his own.
Jey Uso also thought Rhea deserved better and invited her to Waffle House with him. Interestingly, Mami even confirmed to Jackie Redmond later that Main Event Jey had her number. Their interactions, while brief, have been meaningful. However, it's unlikely to play a part in the story involving Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
Now if there is a Dominik Mysterio betrayal at Rhea's expense at The Biggest Party of the Summer, something between the former Bloodline member and The Eradicator could potentially develop.
