Jey Uso's first challenger for the Intercontinental Championship officially confirmed by WWE
Jey Uso shocked the world when he dethroned Bron Breakker last week on WWE RAW to capture the Intercontinental Championship. His first challenger has officially been announced.
The Yeet Master has held multiple titles in the company, but most were with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso. Last week, he finally won a singles championship for the first time in his 14-year career. Bron Breakker only held it for 51 days.
Jey Uso opened this week's episode of Monday Night RAW and celebrated with the crowd. He cut a heartfelt promo in the ring and was confronted by Bron Breakker. The latter stated that he didn't come out to attack him. Instead, he congratulated him, and they shook hands, turning babyface in the promise.
Later, during the show, Kofi Kingston told Xavier Woods that he got him an Intercontinental Title match against Jey Uso. The champion said he would defend the belt weekly, and his first opponent has already been revealed. The bout was confirmed for next week's episode of RAW.
That's not the only title match that will take place that night, as Sami Zayn vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship will also happen on the red brand next week.
