Jey Uso's move to WWE RAW brought up "trauma and PTSD" for a major name

WWE's landscape changed significantly when Jey Uso moved to Monday Night RAW. However, the move didn't sit well with Drew McIntyre as he recently opened up about it.

Jey Uso became a popular name on Monday Night RAW when cut ties with The Bloodline and joined the red brand. Main Event Jey quickly rose to the top and became a fan favorite. However, Drew McIntyre wasn't okay with how things were changing around him.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, McIntyre addressed his loss at Clash at The Castle in 2022. During their conversation, he pointed out how his past trauma was triggered when he saw Jey Uso on WWE RAW after The Bloodline took everything away from him.

"How does McIntyre rebound from this, which took a minute to do, but because I didn't win that night, the way things worked out, the story we've been telling that was such an integral part of the story, especially initially with the character shift with Jey Uso moving from SmackDown to RAW and bringing up the trauma and PTSD McIntyre had from The Bloodline," McIntyre said.

He added:

"This trauma is brought up by this Bloodline member just showing up and everybody cheering him and saying a silly little word 'Yeet' and doing his little silly dance. And now, wait a minute, this guy's a bad guy, and then suddenly people start turning on me. So if it wasn't for what happened at Clash, if it wasn't for the journey and the way we tell stories now, we can tell stories now, we wouldn't be where we are right now," McIntyre said. [H/T: CVV]

Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre have crossed paths a few times after WWE Clash at the Castle 2022

Drew McIntyre holds a serious grudge against The Bloodline as the faction cost him the biggest moment of his career in front of his friends and family. The Scottish Warrior spent months trying to get revenge on the group but failed.

Later, Jey Uso joined WWE RAW and crossed paths with Drew McIntyre. While Main Event Jey was apologetic for his previous actions, The Scottish Warrior wasn't interested in lending a hand.

The two have had matches on Monday Night RAW and a win over McIntyre in a Fatal-4-Way allowed Uso to go to France and face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash.

Last month, Jey Uso defeated Drew McIntyre in a dark match on WWE SmackDown. It'll be interesting to see if the two cross paths in the near future.
