Jey Uso's next feud could be with a familiar face after Money in the Bank failure, says WWE Analyst
Jey Uso is still looking to win his first-ever singles WWE championship. A WWE Analyst now believes the 38-year-old could enter a feud with a former teammate over a top title.
Last night, Jey competed against five other superstars in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match to earn a guaranteed contract for a title match. However, the former Bloodline member failed to capture the briefcase as Drew McIntyre emerged victorious. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts predicted the next step for Main Event.
Roberts suggested Jey's next feud could be with his former Bloodline teammate Sami Zayn over the Intercontinental Championship:
"Maybe there's a Jey Uso versus Sami Zayn good guy/good guy program that we could do. I think it would be great," he said. [9:32 - 9:41]
Jey Uso previously failed to win the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther on WWE RAW
While Jey Uso competed in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match last night at the premium live event, Sami Zayn successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker.
As Main Event could now challenge his former Bloodline teammate, it would be his second attempt to capture the Intercontinental Title. Last February, the 38-year-old squared off against Gunther for the championship on Monday Night RAW. Nevertheless, he came up short against The Ring General.
With The Bloodline storyline heating up, many think Jey's next step would be reuniting with Roman Reigns to fight Solo Sikoa's group. It would be interesting to see what the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion will do after his Money in the Bank failure.
