Jey Uso's victory celebration cut short on RAW; ex-employee discusses how WWE could have prevented it (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently discussed how Jey Uso seemingly didn't get his moment after winning the Intercontinental Championship. The star was in a battle against Bron Breakker in the main event of RAW.

Jey put on a valiant effort against Breakker. He refused to give up even when The Dog of WWE had the upper hand in the match. Finally, the 39-year-old hit a couple of Spears on his opponent and picked up the win with the help of a spectacular Uso Splash. However, the match had seemingly gone on for too long, and WWE quickly wrapped up the show, cutting short the new champion's celebration.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo said former WWE producer Kevin Dunn would never have messed up RAW's climax. He pointed out that Dunn had produced the show for years and never encountered such situations. The veteran writer felt that Jey Uso should have gotten his moment to shine after winning the first singles title of his career.

"You know who's not gonna blow that, bro? Kevin Dunn. Say all you want about Kevin Dunn, bro, he did that a million times and I guarantee you that would never happen." [From 23:31 onwards]

After this week's win, Jey Uso has cemented himself as a dominant force on the RAW roster. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the former Bloodline member as he starts off his inaugural Intercontinental Championship run.
