Vince Russo criticizes Jey Uso's celebration following title win on WWE RAW

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently took Jey Uso to task for getting emotional after capturing the Intercontinental Championship last month.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, the veteran questioned why Uso got so emotional following the title win. He stated that the titles were props in the wrestling business and was confused as to why wrestlers were getting emotional on television.

"I don't understand this. The dude was so emotional, he could hardly speak. I don't understand. This is a job. The title is a prop. For the life of me, I don't understand how these wrestlers get emotional over winning a prop. Jey Uso has been around forever, forever." [17:10 onwards]

The 39-year-old used to be a member of The Bloodline but left the faction after he was betrayed by Jimmy Uso at WWE SummerSlam 2023. Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline after he was defeated by his brother at WrestleMania XL and went on hiatus until his return last weekend at Bad Blood.

The veteran suggested to Roman Reigns that they reunite with the Intercontinental Champion, but The Original Tribal Chief turned down the idea this past Friday night on SmackDown.
