Jey Uso wants to reunite with close friend on WWE RAW
WWE Superstar Jey Uso recently expressed his desire to reunite with a close real-life friend. Despite being the Intercontinental Champion, he wants the RAW star to be his tag team partner.
The 39-year-old teamed up with fellow RAW Superstar Sami Zayn to defeat the World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh earlier this year. Uso and Zayn used to be part of The Bloodline and have supported each other during their time on the red brand as well.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Jey Uso claimed that working with Sami Zayn during The Bloodline storyline helped his character. He pointed out that despite hating each other on screen, the two loved each other in real life. Uso further expressed his desire to form a full-blown tag team with the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.
"Sami [Zayn] definitely helped my character. I know we hated each other on screen, but we really love each other in the back but it just came off on TV so organically. I want to work with him. Now I want to. You will have [a] little glimpse of me and him on RAW but Man, I really want to go, like, full-blown tag team with him and try to see how that goes," he said. [H/T: Metro.co.uk]

Former WWE manager claims he hates Jey Uso's gimmick
Jey Uso has been one of the most beloved babyfaces on the roster since joining the red brand. However, legendary WWE manager Jim Cornette recently said he disliked the former Bloodline member's gimmick.
On a recent episode of Drive-Thru, Cornette declared Jey Uso's character as his least favorite top star gimmick in professional wrestling. The veteran pointed out that although the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion was over with fans, he hated the 'Yeet' gimmick. He further criticized Uso's work, claiming it had only gone downhill.
"I've got a lot of least favorites in AEW. But I'm now officially declaring Jey Uso is my least favorite top-guy gimmick in wrestling. It's all over. But I hate it. I hate 'Yeet.' I hate that Ringling Brothers outfit he's wearing with 'Yeet' on his arms, and flower petals on his legs, and fluorescent blue all over. I hate his work, which has gone to hell because of his hot doggery, which is not only over the top but also it seems to me to be hard to work with because the timing of his hot doggery is just a step behind the beat. I don't like any of this," said Cornette. [0:30 - 1:32]
