Jimmy Uso could join forces with major WWE Superstars upon his return, believes Rikishi

Rikishi recently shared his thoughts on his son Jimmy Uso's potential return to WWE. The Hall of Famer feels that Jimmy reuniting with his brother, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns will be one of the better options.

Jimmy Uso has been absent from WWE programming ever since the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline kicked him out of the faction on SmackDown after WrestleMania XL. Recent reports have indicated that the 39-year-old star's return is "getting closer."

During a recent edition of the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the legend was asked by a fan if Jimmy needed to do something different to stand out upon his comeback. The Samoan Stinker responded by saying that Jimmy Uso would likely find an appropriate character for himself in due time.

The former Intercontinental Champion added that it wouldn't take long for the former Bloodline member to settle into his new character, whether as a singles star or as part of a faction with Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. Rikishi also believes that a reunion among the trio is probably "the route to go."

"When Jimmy [Uso] does come back, I'm very confident it's not gonna take long, you know, be it he comes back as a single or they decide to put him and Jey [Uso] together to be able to join Roman [Reigns], which I probably think that...that will probably be the route to go. But if in case they decide to [bring him back as a singles star], I think, you know, it won't take long for Jimmy to find himself. To be able to, you know, come up with his own deal. He is very, very talented. He is smart. He is athletic. So, I don't think it's gonna be a problem for him to find his way," said Rikishi. [From 21:40 to 22:26]

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi also gave an update on Jimmy Uso

During the same podcast, WWE legend Rikishi provided an update on Jimmy Uso and said that he is "doing fine." The Samoan Stinker is hopeful that Uso will make his return soon after a much-needed rest.

"Jimmy's doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully, Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I'm sure he misses the fans and I'm sure you all miss Jimmy. He's doing great. He's got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he's ready to go, so, hopefully, we're able to see Jimmy soon," said Rikishi.

Cody Rhodes is gearing up to put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match on next week's SmackDown season premiere. It will be interesting to see if Jimmy shows up and gets some revenge on The Bloodline during the show.
