Jimmy Uso's cousin breaks silence following Bad Blood return; real-life Bloodline member details private conversation with the WWE star (Exclusive)
Jimmy Uso finally made his much-awaited return at WWE Bad Blood and helped Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes tackle The Bloodline. The 39-year-old was rumored to return and team up with The Original Tribal Chief for months, which is exactly what happened in Atlanta. Jimmy's cousin, Lloyd Anoa'i, recently spoke about his comeback.
The main event of Bad Blood featured the unlikely pairing of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns taking on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa distracted Reigns during the final moments of the match, leading to Jimmy making a surprising appearance to take down the heels.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bad Blood Post-Show Review, Lloyd Anoa'i was asked whether he knew about Jimmy Uso's return. Lloyd revealed that while he didn't know about the comeback, he expected it to happen at Bad Blood. The 54-year-old added that he last met Jimmy at his father's funeral, and they had a chat.
"I knew he was coming back eventually. I kind of felt he would probably be back, uh, tonight at Bad Blood. You know, he's been out for a while. Last time I saw him, he was at my dad's funeral and all that, and we were talking for a little, but he didn't say much. But in my gut feeling, I knew it was the right time to bring him back," Lloyd said. [38:08 onwards]
Jimmy Uso's return was followed by The Rock's arrival
While Jimmy Uso shocked fans with his return at Bad Blood, the State Farm Arena's roof blew off when The Rock's music hit. The Final Boss didn't say a word upon his return. However, he confronted Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy.
It is unclear when The Rock will appear again on WWE TV to reveal his plans. Regardless, his return has made The Bloodline storyline much more interesting.
