Jimmy Uso's cousin gives an interesting update on his potential return ahead of SummerSlam 2024 (Exclusive)
Jimmy Uso hasn't been seen since SmackDown after WrestleMania 40 where he was ejected out of The Bloodline in favor of Tama Tonga. His cousin provided an interesting update on a potential return.
SummerSlam is looming around, so Sportskeeda Wrestling brought in Joe Lowry and Afa Anoa'i Jr. Some of you might remember Afa Jr. as "Manu" in WWE - where he was briefly a part of Randy Orton's "Legacy" faction. That was where Cody Rhodes got the biggest spotlight of his early career.
In the SummerSlam Preview and Pre-Show, we asked about what Jimmy Uso had been up to. While not disclosing much, Afa Jr. said that he believes Jimmy, like the others, remains ready when they're out of action. He also said he wouldn't be surprised to see him return soon:
"Yeah, Jimmy [Uso], they always stay ready. They're always ready to be re-inserted back. When you're not in the big picture you're getting ready to return. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back real soon." (13:18-13:39)

Has an undisclosed medical issue kept Jimmy Uso away?
There hasn't been too much news about Jimmy since WrestleMania 40 barring a few updates.
A few months ago, it was reported that Jimmy Uso was dealing with an undisclosed medical injury. Rikishi put out a post telling people to pray for his son. Nearly a month ago, Xero News tweeted that Jimmy has been medically cleared and is ready to return.
There's a lot of speculation running rampant about what WWE could do with Jimmy once he returns. It's unfortunate that his match against Jey at WrestleMania 40 didn't pan out despite having been built up eight months previously.
However, some fans have speculated that he could be returning along with Jimmy to team up with Roman Reigns against the New Bloodline.
Afa Jr., for his part, knows how much fans are anticipating the Bloodline Civil War story and told Joe Lowry that he thinks WWE will hold off on it for that exact reason.
