Jimmy Uso sends Cody Rhodes a surprising message on SmackDown after helping him at Bad Blood 2024
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso had a very interesting interaction backstage on SmackDown. It was Jimmy who made the difference at Bad Blood, helping Cody and Roman Reigns secure the win. Jimmy sent the WWE Champion a surprising message.
Jimmy Uso opened the October 11 episode of SmackDown, getting a great response and then having an interaction with his cousin Roman Reigns. Jimmy appeared to tease reuniting with his brother Jey after a year and four months, with Reigns rejecting the idea by saying "No Yeet". Despite this, Jimmy reminded his cousin of the battle that lies ahead, and that was seemingly acknowledged by Roman Reigns.
Backstage, Cody Rhodes thanked Jimmy Uso for his help at Bad Blood, but Jimmy told him that it was a one-off favor and that The American Nightmare shouldn't expect any more help going forward.
Rhodes told Jimmy that the Solo Sikoa he's trying to take on isn't the same man as before. After saying "Family business", Jimmy gave his flowers to the WWE Champion by saying:
"From the looks of it, you're handling business on your own. Respect."

This is one of the reasons why Kevin Owens turned on The American Nightmare. The war between them is only beginning. Owens appeared on SmackDown despite his suspension and said that he didn't turn on Cody, but it was the latter who turned on him.
This is, of course, alluding to the years that Owens spent battling The Bloodline - with multiple Universal Championship wins being denied as a result of them.
Cody Rhodes hasn't given much reassurance to Kevin Owens about everything and even Randy Orton failed to be the voice of reason. However, the backstage segment seemed to tease more problems for The American Nightmare going forward.
