Jimmy Uso will make WWE return and immediately unveil new character post-SummerSlam, says analyst; after the locker room refuses to help Roman Reigns

Jimmy Uso became Solo Sikoa's first of many victims in his quest to take over The Bloodline. WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently talked about a potential return scenario for one-half of The Usos.

Jimmy hasn't been seen on WWE TV since being betrayed by his younger brother, Solo Sikoa, on SmackDown after WrestleMania XL. However, he wasn't the only one as Paul Heyman suffered the same fate after refusing to acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief.

With Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman out of the picture, Solo Sikoa has his sights set on bringing the Undisputed WWE Championship back to The Bloodline. He will challenge Cody Rhodes in the main event of SummerSlam this year.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts said Roman Reigns must make his return this weekend after how frequently he has been referenced on TV:

"At this point, I do feel like Roman [Reigns] has to come back at SummerSlam just because of how much they've been teasing him," Roberts said. [From 57: 04 to 57:11]

Roberts went on to add that WWE could bring back Jimmy Uso as a babyface immediately after the entire SmackDown locker room refuses to side with Roman Reigns against The Bloodline:

"Maybe you do a thing where The Bloodline beats down Roman and Cody and they don't have any friends, right? Because Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are both gone and people won't save Roman Reigns. And maybe Cody's backstage and LA Knight is like, 'Nah, Nah! I'm not saving that guy. I got your back. I don't have his.' You know what I mean? And so then they get into this position where they've got no friends and that's when Jimmy comes out," he added. [From 57:25 to 58:00]

What's the current status of Jimmy Uso?

Though there's no official word on when Jimmy Uso is slated to return, rumors suggest that he has been medically cleared to resume in-ring action.

A few months ago, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi asked fans to pray for his son, indicating that he took time off to deal with some undisclosed injury.

Now that he is ready to return, fans shouldn't wait any longer to possibly see him back alongside Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman to feud with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline.
