Joe Hendry hilariously roasts former four-time WWE champion with new song

Say his name and he appears, it seems as though Joe Hendry is popping up everywhere. Whether on NXT or TNA, Hendry is making an impact everywhere he goes. Whether it's with his incredible moves in the ring, his natural charisma, or his amazing musical talents, The Prestigious One is great at captivating audiences. And recently, he was at it again, this time roasting a former four-time WWE champion with a new song.

The former four-time WWE champion in this hilarious case, is none other than Elias, now known as Elijah. Having made a name for himself in WWE with his own musical talents, Elias held the 24/7 Championship four times. Now signed to NWA, Elijah recently made an appearance for the promotion. There, he decided to take the risk of mocking Joe Hendry.

On cue, Joe Hendry flashed on the screen, and as mentioned earlier, he had a little song for Elijah. Parodying the popular "Give It Up" by KC and The Sunshine Band, Hendry mocked Elijah, claiming the former WWE star was just mad that he took his job.

"His name is Elijah. He just wants to sing and play guitar. But, Hendry took his job, took his job, Hendry took his job!" sang Joe Hendry.

Check out the video below:

The song, unsurprisingly, had the entire crowd in stitches. As for Elijah, he looked rather peeved, an expression, the WWE Universe has seen plenty of times before during his time with the company. Either way, it was another iconic and perhaps viral moment for Hendry.

Joe Hendry confirmed that he plans on sticking around in NXT

Joe Hendry's presence in NXT has been a welcome surprise. The Prestigious One has made three appearances on WWE's developmental brand. From his participation in the 25-Man Battle Royal to teaming with Trick Williams against Ethan Page and Shawn Spears, and most recently, his role as guest commentator in a match between Gallus and The Rascalz, he has been sensational.

Well, fortunately for the WWE Universe, it doesn't look like Hendry plans to leave NXT anytime soon. Following The Rascalz's win over Gallus, he had a chat with his fellow Scotsman backstage and confirmed that he plans on sticking around in the white and gold brand for a while longer.

Only good things can come from having Hendry on NXT, at least for the fans. He is a polarizing superstar and has the potential to reach the top of the wrestling world. Whether that will be with WWE or some other promotion remains to be seen.
