Joe Hendry thanks fans following major WWE achievement

Popular star Joe Hendry has sent a message to the WWE Universe following his surprise debut this past Tuesday night on NXT. The veteran competed in the Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for Trick Williams' NXT Championship.

Je'Von Evans won the Battle Royal this past Tuesday night and will be facing Trick Williams at NXT Heatwave. Joe Hendry was eliminated right away after Frankie Kazarian and others teamed up to throw him over the top rope. Ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown in Chicago, Hendry thanked the fans for making his debut the most viewed video on the promotion's official X (formerly Twitter) account since the beginning of the year.

"Joe Hendry debut is now @WWE’s most viewed X post of the year so far. Thank you for wrestling fans 👏 👏," he wrote.

Ace Steel is currently serving as Joe Hendry's manager in TNA Wrestling. The 36-year-old's popularity skyrocketed after his theme song went viral as a singles track.


WWE veteran praises Joe Hendry and wants him to write his comeback music

Wrestling legend JBL has shared his reaction to Joe Hendry's work and claimed it is the greatest thing he's seen in years.

Joe Hendry has been a professional wrestler for years and has been parodying wrestlers with music on the independent scene. JBL took to social media following the 36-year-old's debut in WWE NXT and noted that he had been watching his videos all morning. The Hall of Famer claimed he wanted Hendry to write his comeback music and reposted the video of his NXT appearance.

"I never thought anything would equal 'Rap is Crap' by the West Texas Rednecks, but @joehendry has done it. This is the greatest thing I’ve seen in years, I have spent the morning watching his videos and can’t love them enough. I have to have Joe write my comeback music. #IbelieveinJoeHendry," wrote JBL.
