John Cena details working dates in WWE Farewell Tour in 2025
WWE legend John Cena shared more details about his retirement tour in 2025. The Cenation Leader made a surprise appearance during Money in the Bank to announce that 2025 will be his final year in the ring.
In an interview with Collider promoting the upcoming season of Peacemaker, Cena was asked what he was looking forward to during his final year as an active WWE Superstar. Cena noted that he will be devoting 2025 to finishing his career and is going to make around 36 appearances in total.
"This is one thing I can give you—I can probably confirm the Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE. I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January and I'll end it in December. It's gonna be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So, that's what I'm doing in 2025," he said. [H/T: Collider]
John Cena sends message to WWE fans ahead of Farewell Tour
Wrestling veteran John Cena recently opened up about his last year in the ring and sent a message to fans.
In an interview with extratv, the 16-time World Champion said he was grateful to be in good health and be able to perform in 2025. John Cena added that he has given the audience a six-month warning and is looking forward to hearing how loud they can get next year.
"This is my way for an audience that has made me who I am after 22 to 23 years of investment to say, 'Hey I'm going to give you six months. That's your warning. And then in January, we're going on tour, and then in December I'm hanging them up.' So let's all get together, uh, at various spots around the world, next calendar year, and get loud and rowdy one more time," he said. [6:36 - 7:00]
