John Cena posts cryptic message ahead of WWE retirement tour
WWE Superstar John Cena recently took to social media to post a cryptic message ahead of his retirement tour. Cena was the face of the Stamford-based promotion for almost two decades.
The Cenation Leader has achieved everything in the pro wrestling world, including 16 World Titles. During the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, The Chain Gang Soldier made a surprise appearance to make a major announcement. The 47-year-old shattered several hearts by revealing that he was going to retire from WWE at the end of 2025.
John Cena is known for uploading cryptic Instagram posts. He did something similar this time as well, as he uploaded an image of 'passing the torch,' which could be for the 2024 Paris Olympics set to commence on July 24.
However, the post might also suggest that he is looking to pass his responsibility and leadership to someone else in the Triple H-led company.

John Cena sent a message after WWE Money in the Bank
Following his retirement announcement at WWE Money in the Bank, John Cena took to X/Twitter to send a message. The Cenation Leader wrote that he was extremely grateful that he was invited back to the Stamford-based promotion for his last run.
The 16-time World Champion also mentioned that he could not wait to return to WWE television in 2025.
"For over 22 years YOU have allowed me to be a part of many special moments. We have incredible history together from setbacks to triumph and all in between. I’m so grateful to be invited back home so we can write the last chapter of this unforgettable ride. Sunsets are often the most memorable experience. I can’t wait to share this sunset with my family. See you all very soon. The Last Time Is Now!" he wrote.
